Brodick > Tim Shaw was given the brief was to interpret a story that was associated with vine-growing. It became apparent that Dionysus, Greek God of the vines (later known as Bacchus by the Romans), was the appropriate subject for this job.
Brodick > The plants are tough but their environments are fragile. Intensive grazing has caused soil erosion, imported plants have threatened native species and land has been developed.
Brodick > This is one of several typical Asian houses.
Brodick > There was a near-disaster when 43 million gallons of water rained into the pit in the first 3 months. A drainage system to cope with the 22 litres per second of water that drains into the pit was developed.
Brodick > Depending upon which car park you are in, you can either walk down to the entrance area or else take the shuttle bus. If in doubt take the bus!
