An interesting experience even for technophobes, is this museum, situated at Llanberis in North Wales and created with the help of a £1.6m Lottery Grant. Good use has been made of the Victorian workshops built in the shadow of Elidir mountain, site of the vast Dinorwig quarry. There are also some excellent walks around the adjoining the Padarn Country Park.
